Keeping In Touch Across the Miles, Online

With all of the family events this past couple of months, I have felt the need to retain closeness to family achieved through holiday visits, and the outpouring of goodness surrounding the death of my Mother on the 10th of January. For this reason there are a number of websites that I have been following to keep in touch.

My brothers and sisters maintain a website on myfamily.com. A while back Joseph set up a family site on geni.com. This site is where the next generation can go for info on family happenings and to see the great family tree that they fit in. We were told at Mothers funeral that we need to understand who we are if we want our lives to go in the right direction. If we don't study our own history we're going to repeat the problems from the past. So true and simple. When the time to perform is here the time to prepare is past.

Then after stalling for a long time, I finally signed into facebook, where you can find out what is happening. For now this will probably be the main sites for keeping up on people important to me.

I have also been a reporter for alabamagasprices.com for the past few years, part of the gasbuddy network where local gas prices and info is uploaded each day, just part of a service project to help out those who want to find the best gas price in town without using a tank of gas to find it.

Mother and I got a Wii for christmas this past year so we've been busy learning how to use it, and the WiiFit is going good, I never thought there would be a time I'd be doing Yoga but go figure, it really helps.

Hope everyone is doing well.
