What's it all about anyway?

There are many occasions in life where we can wonder, what's the purpose in life, why are we on earth now, and who are we, where did we come from and just where can we go from here?

Man has sought the answers to these questions for Thousands of years. Many have written of there quest, they ask, who is God and is he mindful of us? Many have given their life in a study of the bible in hopes of finding out the answers to these questions, ever searching but finding little in the way of a comprehensive answer.

And then in the midst of this great confusion, light and truth, wisdom and knowledge was poured down from heaven upon the head of a humble seeker of truth, who poured out his heart to know the answers to these questions. My great great grandfather Taylor had followed a course of becoming a Methodist minister in England in hopes of finding the answers to these questions. He later immigrated to America to Canada as he felt drawn to this new land. He held meetings with friends where they studied the bible and were fully aware that God had promised a restoration of his true gospel before the second coming of our Lord Jusus Christ.

A minister of the restored gospel came to preach in his neighborhood, for six weeks great great grandfather Taylor studied and compared the teachings of Christ from the Bible  and the Book  of Mormon. At the conclusion of this six weeks of intensive study and comparison Grandfather Taylor and his wife we're baptized as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Through out his life he expressed the utmost gratitude for the restored gospel to the earth and for his knowledge that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, who received the fullness of the everlasting gospel, without which confusion would reign continually everywhere on earth.
